Rondar Raceboats, Ltd is proud to announce the formation of Rondar Raceboats, USA. Located in Peabody, MA, Rondar Raceboats USA has already begun production of collegiate racing dinghies for the USA market. Our first delivery will be of 20 Firefly dinghies for Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s sailing team, in a few short weeks. Rondar USA will soon begin production of Collegiate 420’s and in the coming months, Flying Juniors, as well as the Viper 640 One-Design Sportboat for the retail market.
Working closely with the home office of Rondar Raceboats Ltd in the United Kingdom, Rondar Raceboats USA will immediately provide full-time professional customer service, support, sales and marketing for the Viper 640 as well as the collegiate market. The Rondar Raceboats USA staff is composed of:
Paul Zimmerman: Paul will be responsible for the overall operation of the U.S. factory. One of the founding members of the re-launch of the Viper 640 Class Association, Paul has served as the east coast sales rep for Rondar Raceboats Ltd for the past 3 years. An experienced sales professional, Paul will continue to provide sales and customer service for Viper sailors, as well as sales and service for the collegiate market. pz@rondarboats.com Ext 2.
Ben Parker: Ben will be in charge of all construction in Peabody as well as the overall operation of the U.S. factory. Ben has owned his own successful business in the field of composite manufacturing and also has a background in production management. Ben is an active sportsman and Viper 640 enthusiast. ben@rondarboats.
Drew Harper: Drew will be responsible for customer service, marketing and sales on the west coast, where he has served as a sales rep for Rondar Raceboats Ltd for the past 3 years. Drew has a wealth of expertise as an entrepreneur in number of successful sailing related ventures. Drew will continue be an enthusiastic Viper supporter. drew@rondarboats.com Ext. 5
Dan Tucker: Dan will be responsible for customer service, marketing and sales on the east coast. He has served as the volunteer president of the Viper 640 Class Association. An experienced and successful sales professional, most recently at Flexofold Sailboat Propellers, Dan has chosen to bring his experience to Rondar Raceboats USA to continue to build the Viper Class, now from the business side. Therefore Dan has stepped down from the president’s role. Dan will also continue be an enthusiastic Viper supporter. dan@rondarboats.com
