INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISE

THE CLASS
Designed by Jack Holt in 1956, the Enterprise has become one of the largest classes in the world and certainly a very popular racing class in the UK. It is a strict One Design, suited to crew of all sizes and ages and ideal for both training or racing. The Enterprise became recognised by the ISAF as an International Class in 1971, increasing its popularity. World Championships are held at exciting venues, including Hong Kong, Ireland, Thailand, India and Zimbabwe.

CHARACTERISTICS

The Enterprise is ideal for close tactical sailing, with a powerful rig offering outstanding performance, especially offwind in breezy conditions. In the event of a capsize, bailers and transom flaps quickly exhaust the water allowing the crew to return to the race. The Enterprise can be easily traled and managed onshore.

CONSTRUCTION
The Rondar Enterprise is based on a mould taken from the 1992 World Championship winning boat, with wooden decks as standard. High density foam sandwich cores and extensive use of advanced construction systems for the hull, produce a craft that is unequalled in terms of panel stiffness and strength, for its weight. The deck moulding incorporates side buoyancy tanks, thwarts and capping into one rigid moulding to promote overall stiffness.

SPECIFICATION

A comprehensive selection of equipment is available. We are happy to accommodate your specific requirements whenever possible. All hulls are measured by an independent RYA Measurer before leaving the factory and a measurement form is supplied, completed as far as possible.
